Meghan Caprez
Personal Anthem: "Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. We Keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious... and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. " - Walt Disney
Hi! My name is Meghan Caprez, and I’m hopelessly devoted to Disney, musical theatre and traveling to Dublin and London.
I worked for The Walt Disney Company for about five months in 2013, participating in the Disney College Program at Walt Disney World Resort®. As a character attendant in Animal Kingdom, I was able to help make magic alongside the big cheese himself, Mickey Mouse, and some of his other Disney pals: Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and Rafiki, just to name a few. The experience completely changed my life.
Musical theatre has also been a huge part of my life since my debut as a Tiny Tapper in a community production of “Bugsy Malone” when I was five. Nowadays, I’ve stepped out of the spotlight to be a season ticket holder at Playhouse Square in Cleveland and a Broadway In Akron Insider at the University of Akron’s EJ Thomas Hall…all after completing an internship in public relations at the Akron Civic Theatre and covering the performing arts beat for the Daily Kent Stater, that is.
I’ve been interested in the Global Ad & PR course since I was a sophomore in college, and I’m thrilled I get to travel to the lands of U2, Harry Potter, One Direction, Will & Kate and more!
After I graduate from Kent State University in May 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in public relations, I plan to pursue a graduate degree in global communication. If you’d like to learn more about me or my experience in my chosen field, please visit my online portfolio.
